I run a small business called itty bitty builds and I am in charge of everything--from the product design and construction, to website design and brand identity. One of the first things I did after establishing and naming my company, was to determine the branding. I wanted it to be playful, bright, and blocky. This page shows how I try to accomplish that mission.
Pictured here is my current logo for this business that I designed in Adobe Illustrator.
I made this graphic to help visualize my branding. I created a color palette with the hex codes of the colors I want to use. I chose colors that I frequently use in my products for the palette. I chose blocky fonts like Impact and Montserrat.
Here you can see a glimpse into the website I created. I used elements from the graphic I made including the colors and fonts. Doing this helps create uniformity across the website and the brand.
In addition to color and font, I needed to chose logos that fit the same theme. I created this logo which plays on the "itty bitty" aspect of the brand, but also incorporates the blocky, parallel lines used throughout the brand.
I also created this smaller, simpler version of the logo to be used as the website's favicon.
