I always painted my own nails even when I was very young. It became a bit of a hobby for me by the time I was in 5th grade. For most of that school year, I changed my nail polish every single night. This continued on and off until I got into high school, where I wasn't allowed to paint my nails because of my movie theater job. However, since fall 2021 when I was at college, I dove back in. I taught myself how to use polygel and gel polish which is what is pictured to the left. However, that stint was short lived because it was too much work for how briefly these nails would last. Since then, all of my nail work has been strictly with nail polish which is what is shown below. 

This is by no means close to all of the manicures I've done since the beginning of 2022. I tend to paint my nails one to two times a week. I rarely do actual art on them for the same reason I don't do polygel. But I think they look nice and they take me a while to do, which is why I am giving them a page on my portfolio.
