This mini bean bag toss game was one of the first things I made when I learned how to use a laser cutter. I designed the board using Adobe Illustrator and the end product is about 4" wide by 12" long. I tried to keep the proportions somewhat in line with the regulation cornhole standards. Once I had the design, I laser cut two boards from 1/4" balsa. Then I sewed some mini bean bags, also proportional in size.
This is the laser-cut file I designed with all the pieces needed to cut out two boards.
I assembled the boards with hot glue.
I actually made a sewing pattern and instruction guide for how to make the bean bags. I made this because I thought this could be an easy beginner project for guests at my Makerspace job.
I weighed out a small portion of rice and used that to fill the bean bags.
This is how big the bean bags are compared to my fingers.
