Paper crafts are one of the most accessible creative hobbies for beginners. I think that paper is also one of the most versatile mediums for making things. This page shows some of my most recent projects using paper. I thought of all of these crafts on my own and then actually ended up using them as display and instructional material for my Makerspace job. The first of these is the flower pot shown in the picture. I made these various flowers out of paper, tape, and pipe cleaners. I 3D printed the vase and stuffed the base with paper scraps.
These are instruction sheets I made that show how to make some of these paper flowers.
I set out the instructions and necessary material so Makerspace guests could make their own flowers.
This is another paper craft I made using the Cricut. These cards have a plastic window and paper confetti behind it.
These are all of the material to make confetti cards. I provided the cards with precut windows, plastic sheets to line the windows, foam buffers to make the confetti enclosure, glue, and scrap paper that can be hole punched to make confetti.
These are Halloween buttons I made using markers, colored pencils, and stickers that I cut out with a Cricut.
These are the materials needed to make the buttons (not pictured are the button maker and the supplies to press the buttons). I also created an instruction sheet for this craft.
